DMCA and Content Removal

Swingrio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we will respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. We aim to process complete removal requests within 48 hours.

What to include in a notice

  • Your full legal name and contact information.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
  • A description of the work and what the work contains.
  • The exact URLs on Swingrio where the material is located.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

Removal requests by persons appearing in content

If you appear in a video on Swingrio and want it removed, you do not need to prove copyright ownership. Send us the exact URLs and a statement confirming you are the person depicted. We will remove the content promptly upon verification.

Counter-notice procedure

If you believe material you uploaded was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include your name, address, and telephone number; identification of the material removed and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Swingrio may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.
